Forcepoint Web Security System Engineer Training – Certification Preparation

This five-day course is for engineers who design, deploy and troubleshoot Forcepoint Web Security in enterprise environments. You work through appliance architecture, traffic redirection methods, proxy high availability, multi-domain authentication and SIEM integration, then move on to the diagnostic toolset. The content follows Forcepoint's published System Engineer outline and prepares you for the matching certification exam, which combines a theory part with a hands-on practical part.

Target audience

The exam

The Web Security System Engineer certification exam has two parts: a multiple-choice theory section, where you need at least 80%, and a hands-on practical on the platform with a 70% threshold. You take it after the course rather than during the sessions. The practical checks that you can install, configure and troubleshoot without a guide, which is why we spend a large share of the week on independent labs and fault scenarios before a final targeted review.

Preparation tips

Frequently asked questions (FAQ)

How long is the Web Security System Engineer course?

40 hours across five eight-hour sessions, with a little homework after each one.

What is the exam format?

A multiple-choice theory part (80% required) and a practical part (70% required), taken after the course. The practical part carries real weight, so most of our prep time goes into hands-on labs rather than slides.

Is the Administrator certification required?

Yes, it is part of the prerequisites. We can run both courses back to back if needed. Allow some time between the two to sit the Administrator exam.

Does the course cover hybrid deployments?

Yes. The Deployment module covers hybrid mode, the policy points to watch when migrating to the cloud, and disaster recovery.

Which formats are available?

Live online, in person in Casablanca or on-site at your organization, in French or English. On-site sessions can model the labs on your own proxy topology and authentication setup.
