Forcepoint DLP System Engineer Training – Certification Preparation
This five-day course is for the people who install, extend and troubleshoot Forcepoint DLP platforms. Going well beyond day-to-day administration, you deploy each component yourself, look inside the Policy Engine and Analytics Engine, manage endpoint agents and run discovery at scale. The content follows Forcepoint's published System Engineer outline and prepares you for the Certified Forcepoint DLP System Engineer credential.

The exam
The Certified Forcepoint DLP System Engineer assessment takes place on the last day and has two parts: a hands-on practical on the platform, followed by a 40-question multiple-choice test. The pass mark is 80%. Because part of the exam is practical, success depends mainly on how comfortably you can install, configure and diagnose components without step-by-step guidance. Throughout the week we set aside time for independent lab work and fault scenarios so you are ready for it.
Preparation tips
Review the Administrator material before day one: it is assumed knowledge
Keep notes on component install order and the ports involved
Repeat the endpoint and SQL troubleshooting labs without the guide
Frequently asked questions (FAQ)
How is it different from DLP Administrator?
Administrator is about operations: policies, incidents and reports. System Engineer covers installation, engine internals, scaling and troubleshooting.
Is the Administrator certification required?
Yes, Forcepoint lists it as a prerequisite. If you do not hold it yet, we can schedule both courses back to back.
What does the exam look like?
A hands-on part on the platform, then 40 multiple-choice questions; you need 80%. Practical fluency matters more than memorizing screens, so most of our prep time goes into labs.
Can I take the course remotely?
Yes, as a live online class with lab access. It is also available in person in Casablanca or on-site at your organization, in French or English.
Who benefits most from this course?
Integrators and in-house teams who deploy or take over a Forcepoint DLP platform and must keep it running reliably.
