Check Point Deployment Administrator (CPDA) R82 Training
This two-day course is the hands-on entry point to Check Point Quantum R82. You plan a three-tier architecture, install a management server, gateways, a cluster and a dedicated log server, then lay the groundwork for policy and maintenance. It does not lead to an exam; it is an ideal warm-up before CCSA R82. Sessions run live online, in person in Casablanca or on-site at your organization, in French or English. Each module ends with a lab: you install Gaia, work in SmartConsole, build a cluster, collect backups and import objects and rules in bulk.

The exam
CPDA has no exam and no accreditation; Check Point positions it as a course without certification. You receive a certificate of attendance. To validate your skills, the logical next step is Check Point Certified Security Administrator (CCSA) R82, whose exam is 156-215.82 with Pearson VUE. What you practise in CPDA (installation, clustering, logging, maintenance) makes that path much smoother.
Preparation tips
Build a small virtual lab to repeat the full installation
Turn each deployment step into a reusable checklist
Move on to CCSA R82 while the steps are still fresh
Frequently asked questions (FAQ)
Does CPDA lead to a certification?
No. It is a hands-on course with no exam. The first Check Point certification remains CCSA R82.
CPDA or CCSA: which should I start with?
If you have never installed Check Point, CPDA saves you time: it focuses on deployment, whereas CCSA covers day-to-day administration and prepares for the exam.
Do I need Check Point experience?
No previous Check Point course is required. Basic systems, networking and TCP/IP knowledge is enough, together with some general security administration background.
Which version does the course cover?
It covers Check Point Quantum R82, the version used by the current CCSA and CCSE exams. The R81.20 exams were retired on 30 June 2026, so starting on R82 keeps you aligned with the certification track.
Which formats do you offer?
Live online, in person in Casablanca or on-site at your organization, in French or English. On-site sessions can use your own deployment scenario as the lab thread.
