Infoblox NIOS DDI Operations + Administration – INO and INA Certification Preparation
This five-day path combines the Infoblox NIOS DDI Operations (2 days) and NIOS DDI Administration (3 days) courses. You start with operator tasks – navigating Grid Manager and managing DHCP objects, DNS records and IPAM data – then move on to administrator duties: Grid members, DNS and DHCP services, zones, approval workflows, CSV import and remote authentication. It prepares you for the NIOS DDI Operator (INO) and Administrator (INA) certifications.

The exam
INO and INA are the first two NIOS DDI certification levels. The Operator exam has 50 to 60 questions in 2 hours; the Administrator exam has 70 to 80 questions in 2 hours 40 minutes. Each may include up to 10 unscored questions and requires a score of 80%. Exams are taken online through Kryterion Webassessor, unproctored and open-book, in a single sitting. You get up to six attempts in twelve months, with a 24-hour wait after a failed attempt. Infoblox product certifications are valid for two years.
Preparation tips
Repeat the labs on a test Grid until you can chain tasks without notes
Organize your notes and the docs: the exam is open-book but timed
Multiple-select questions get no partial credit, so check every option
Frequently asked questions (FAQ)
Are INO and INA course names?
No. They are the NIOS DDI Operator and Administrator certifications. The matching courses are now called NIOS DDI Operations and NIOS DDI Administration.
Why 5 days rather than 2 + 3 + 1?
This bundle combines Operations and Administration. The one-day Deployment course on Grid deployment can be added on request; Infoblox also lists a combined Operations + Administration + Deployment format. That option is useful if you also need to install or upgrade the Grid, configure a high-availability pair or apply hotfixes.
How does the Infoblox exam work?
Online through Kryterion Webassessor, unproctored and open-book. You must finish in one sitting and score at least 80%.
How long is the certification valid?
Two years for NIOS DDI product certifications, according to Infoblox Education policy.
Which delivery formats do you offer?
Live online, in person in Casablanca or on-site at your organization, in French or English. The two parts can also be taken separately.
