Frequently asked questions (FAQ)
Which cloud providers are covered?
AWS, Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud. Principles are first taught in a vendor-neutral way, then applied on each platform in the labs, so you can move between providers with confidence.
Do I need experience to take the exam?
Yes, at least two years of information security experience. Attending authorised training waives the non-refundable application fee.
C|CSE or a provider certification?
Provider certifications validate a single platform. C|CSE spans the three major clouds and adds incident response, forensics and compliance.
Can I take the exam remotely?
EC-Council states that the exam is only available through its ECC Exam Centre. We help you organise the sitting.
Is there much hands-on work?
Yes, more than 85 labs spread across the three cloud platforms and all the modules, designed around real-world, industry-level challenges rather than simple click-through exercises.
